Recently, the EuroStack initiative released a white paper on how to deploy the EuroStack, a federated European tech stack. It also sent an open letter to EU-President Von der Leyen, Executive Vice-President Virkkunen and Executive Vice-President Séjourné.
The main pillars of the white paper are a call to:
"Buy European" - strengthening the European technology industries through public procurement
"Sell European" - increasing the visibility of European alternatives
"Fund European" - strengthening private sector investment in European tech
As part of the initiative, the IE.F welcomes these calls which come at a crucial time for Europe. The continent has to invest in its technological sovereignty more than ever before and should do so united and in coordination.
